Advice letter

Dear Tybalt,                                                                      5/11/16

When you were at your uncle's party and saw Romeo and his friends, you got very angry. I know that they are Montagues which makes them enemies of the Capulets and your family, but before you do anything that you’ll regret think about the war you will start between the two houses. Their will be endless fighting and disagreements, Capulets and Montagues will never have the chance to end their feud. Killing or harming Romeo won’t do any good either, it will either result in banished from Verona or you will be killed because the Montagues will want to even the score. Also if you battle with Romeo you might get severely injured. He could be stronger than you would expect. If you don’t cause a fight with the Montagues it will show you are more mature and a bigger man then Romeo or any of his friends, and maybe one day the Montagues and Capulets can all live in peace. But that will definitely not be a possibility if you act with violence. Remember, give him the benefit of the doubt he might turn out to be the dignified gentlemen Capulet thought he was.
Sincerely,
Ava Mascuch

  3. Great advice letter. It really highlights how if we enforce our own justice on others, giving back what we feel is owed, enemies will remain enemies and friends may just become one.
